Terms of service

Last updated: July 5, 2026

1. Provider and scope

These terms govern the use of simple.email, operated by simple.email (an LC39 company), [STREET AND NUMBER], 83022 Rosenheim, Germany ("we"). By creating an account you accept these terms.

2. The service

simple.email lets you automate your Gmail or Outlook inbox with agents you describe in plain language. Agents classify incoming emails and perform the actions you configured (move, label, archive, forward) via your email provider's APIs. Sensitive actions require your approval; all actions are logged.

The service depends on third-party APIs (Google, Microsoft, Anthropic) that we do not control. Classification is performed by AI models and can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing pending approvals and configuring agents responsibly.

3. Account

4. Plans, trial, and payment

5. Acceptable use

You must not use simple.email to:

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Availability and changes

We provide the service with reasonable care but without an availability guarantee (no SLA). We may modify features with effect for the future; if we discontinue a paid feature materially, you may terminate and receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining period via Creem.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability for indirect damages — including lost profits or losses caused by misclassified or misrouted emails where the approval feature was available but not used — is excluded to the extent legally permissible. Mandatory statutory liability (e.g. under product liability law) remains unaffected.

8. Data protection

Our privacy policy explains what data we process, where, and why — including all processors involved.

9. Term and termination

You may delete your account at any time (contact support@simpleemail.now); this removes all stored data. We may terminate free accounts with 14 days' notice and any account for cause (e.g. violation of section 5).

10. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. We may amend these terms with reasonable notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
